A clown on the lookout
(December 29th-January 1st)
Today I received the news that my grandma died. She had been suffering from kidney failure for a few years and had complications with her brain since the 24th.
As I start my journey can't help to think of the different kind of clowns outthere and I feel compelled to talk to my readers about the subject.
You see my grandma always said:
"we must save some on the side just in case someone else comes". As a child I grew up with my cousins and everyone was really close to each other, almost like brothers and sisters that shared everything toys. clothing and food. That's why I made it a rule in my life to share everything with people that I cared about, and that way I could continue on with the tradition. One of the advantages of visiting grandma was the fact that no matter how late you went to her house on famous estrelleta street you'll always find a plate of food. Even if at times food will go bad on her fridge she said it was better off like that.
One day playing dominoes with her I was trying my best to win and she kept on making me loose. Today I realize maybe it was a bluff, cause in reality all she did there was mess with my head a little and in return she had a very lost player loosing to her smile which threw me off most times while playing. Even when I won she would flip her last bone (double zero) implying that I won no points on that round, oh but when I did it back to her! I'll be like haha you won nothing she would simply reply by saying YES! I won the right to play first and that alone made me feel like I lost.
That's what I wanna talk about! The kind of people outthere who are one step closer to winning and instead they focus their energy the wrong way and end up loosing sight of what winning is all about.
